Heartfelt Words from Our Families
The Lord truly took care of every detail for the last few years of my mom's life. One of the most important parts was putting her in hospice with Heartford. We had AMAZING "Like Family" care from our nurses. We started off with Frances, who was very personable, attentive, & always took her time to get to know us. Then, we got Oliva & she was just as amazing too. My mom loved her visits & always looked forward to seeing her. Frances & Oliva encouraged & guided us in making sure we took care of my mom's "end of life" arrangements ahead of time, so that when it was needed, we wouldnt be stressing about anything. Almost a year later, my mom had a stroke, & that's when it became rough. The nurses came daily to check on her & supported us during this difficult time. Never having to a call 911, or have any ambulances at our home, or be in a hospital room truly helped ease the stress & avoid trauma. After 11 days, my mom went to be with Jesus. It was sad, but an actually calm experience. Because of our faith, it was a relief that she wasn't suffering, but free in heaven. I cant thank Frances & Oliva from Heartford enough, I will always be grateful. Thank you ✝️💟💗

My experience with Heartford Hospice was so good! From the moment they came on board, I felt supported! They answered all of my questions and response time was fast! The nurses, the Chaplin, and everyone I dealt with were amazing! They took a very difficult time in my life and made it easier!
Our family is grateful for the loving care provided for my mother in law. The staff were so kind and caring and professional. They were very thorough with communications and staying in touch with us. Heartford Hospice came into our lives at just the right time. 10 years after my Dad's passing and having lived to the age of 94 1/2, my mom passed peacefully in the care of Heartford Hospice. Mom's last trip to the hospital caused a noticeable decline in her health and wellbeing which had been declining over the last several years. Upon release from the hospital, I called Heartford Hospice which was highly recommended to me. They reviewed her situation and were quick to respond and were able to accept her into their program for 24/7 comfort and compassionate caring. So many were involved and I do not know all the names but Josh, Aileen, Maria, Patrick, Mike and many others helped her through her last week and a half with comfort, care, support, respect, and dignity. Heartford hospice extends that care to us, Mom's family and are helping us cope with our loss. I highly recommend Heartford Hospice to you when the time comes that you need this blessed support.

Our family is so grateful for the incredible care my grandma, Virginia, received from Heartford during the last months of her life. We had started with a different hospice company and after about a week and a half, we knew the level of care was not what she deserved. Switching to Hartford was the best decision we made.

Absolutely the most comforting organization. They helped us through the most difficult times. The took wonderful care of our loved one and always kept us updated on everything. They were easy to contact. And they spiritually help us .
