Michael Abesamis serves as the Executive Director at Heartford Hospice, where he brings 14 years of dedicated hospice experience to his role. A graduate of Mount Saint Mary’s College with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN), Michael’s career spans many diverse roles, including RN Case Manager, Admissions RN, Clinical Liaison, Marketer, Clinical Manager, Director of Patient Care Services, Executive Director, and Regional Director of Operations. Each position has honed his skills in delivering compassionate, patient-centered care and his commitment to improving the quality of life for those in need.
Born and raised in Los Angeles, Michael is a devoted husband and father of two. Outside of his professional life, he enjoys playing basketball, golfing, and snowboarding. His dedication to both his family and his patients is a testament to his values of compassion, integrity, and teamwork, which he brings to Heartford Hospice every day.
